Here we are a few days until 2021 arrives. we have been through a great deal this past year. Many thought that 2020 was going to be such a good year because of the years number. In numerology and Metaphysics, double numbers are considered "Master Numbers." Master numbers are usually considered having spiritual messages or lessons that tend to be positive in nature. Of course most thought nothing but good was going to happen, but in many ways as much bad as we feel has happened, as much good has also come as well. 

March of 2020 saw us all changing our ways of living and socializing, well most of us. It made us be aware of the rising carelessness and selfishness that has been building in our country and our leadership. It has revealed the underlying truths, thoughts and beliefs of many people we know or knew and have had to make choices to either keep them in our lives or not or even now shows much more so, what we have to be aware of when it comes to dealing with them.

It revealed, more so, how much negativity and prejudice really is in our country, when it comes to race and peoples choices they make in their lives.

It revealed how much greed there is in this country. 

This list is so long, I can't even fit it all in in this post.  But if you think about what 2020 did, was it did make us see clearly and perfectly what we all need to do and know what to do for our lives. 

We have had to make changes. We have had to be a bit more careful. We have been struggling with what we can and cannot do. We have seen or known someone who has passed or been sick from this terrible virus. We have lost someone or know someone who has lost someone due to it. We have seen people losing jobs, families, homes, healthcare, food on their plates, peace of mind and security, because of it and also our leadership.

While other countries in the world are helping their citizens get through this, ours, considered the wealthiest in the world, only helps the rich get richer and the poor and middle class, which they depend upon to work in their businesses and make them the wealth they have. I am sure they wouldn't go down to the business and start working in it to keep their business running, when they don't have employees who will work for them because they aren't making enough, have sky high health cost and can't afford to live without having another job, which they may have just lost or been laid off from.

We have seen exactly what 2020 was meant to show us, what we as the human race has had our eyes closed to for so long and now are being forced to see what type of people we are, good and band. We see the need for change and are making it and helping to bring about that change. We see clearly that the future, we can make if we believe enough to make it what we want, not what people want us to take. It actually has been a very spiritual year if you think of it. It is making us take responsibility for the things we have or have not done. That is what spirituality does. It make us learn that we are responsible for these things. We are responsible to wear masks and wash our hands and not be in large groups so we don't bring home the virus or give it to someone we care about. We are responsible to go on living, but live with a conscience, not selfishness.  We need to be human and better ones at that, so that what 2021's message will be the one we can all embrace and grow through. 

2021 is a number of change. When added up it is the number 5, a number that when it appears is about learning that change helps us grow, learn and become something more, not less. It is a number we should embrace fully and learn to change and be better, growing into something we can all be a part of and feel joy for.  With out change in behaviors and learning to do something different because of what we learned, we would not evolve. Change has been in place ever since the beginning of time. Change is good!

If we take the time to reflect on this past year and how much balance and clarity we have been given, we can see that the new year, truly can be one we can look forward to and see that better days are ahead.

This too, like everything else, will pass, be patient, better days are coming.
